Online Portfolio and Easy Learning with Experienced Stylists

A Qualification You Can Depend On

This qualification is designed for those who want to develop the skills and knowledge required to prepare, style, and finish a variety of dog breeds; ensure health and safety in a dog grooming salon; manage a business; and provide canine emergency first aid. The course is delivered over 37 days of hands-on practical training, with additional theoretical work to be completed at home.

Candidates will groom at least 60 dogs, covering a minimum of 10 different breeds and 6 distinct coat types, often exceeding these numbers. There are no prerequisites for enrolling, allowing candidates to start directly at Level 3 without needing to complete a lower-level (Level 2) course first, offering significant cost savings.

Throughout the course, candidates will develop practical skills in prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping, styling, and nail trimming across various dog breeds.

You have up to one year to complete this qualification.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Candidates are assessed continuously through practical demonstrations and coursework, with no requirement for a formal exam to achieve the qualification. This holistic approach, developed by iPET Network, has been positively received by candidates from the UK, Ireland, and internationally. The qualification provides an excellent balance between theoretical and practical learning, reducing the pressures often associated with adult education.
