Due to an update of all qualifications by the Pet Care Trust and City & Guilds, the Level 2 Intermediate qualification is no longer available in this training centre(see downloads to view content),
we felt this qualification would not be in the interest of our students who are on intensve courses.

At Absolutely Animals however, you can achieve a City & Guilds/NPTC qualification at Level 3 Introductory and some units from the Level 3 Professional.

This can be taken alongside a course or if you are already experienced you can take it as an external student. Either way you would be required to complete 4 days assessment time with us.

If you are inexperienced in grooming, the 20 day course will give you all the knowledge and practical skills required to then move straight on to the 4 days assessment time during which you will complete the qualification.

During your training you will be required to research and complete a work book to help with the underpinning knowledge required to undertake both the theory and the practical assessments. As well as in-house assessments you will be required to complete small assignments in your own time that will be marked by your assessor.

For those of you who wish to do the qualification without further training i.e. as an external student, this work would need to be completed before attending the assessment days.

This combined Level 3 qualification and price will be available from April 2010 but if you would like to discuss it with a tutor please feel free to contact us. Subject to change
